1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using rogat.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by rogat.ai ("we", "us", "our") and is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Canada to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must notify us immediately at support@rogat.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Description of Service

rogat.ai provides:

• Account aggregation: Read-only connection to your Canadian bank accounts through certified financial data providers
• Transaction management: Automatic categorization, search, and organization of your transactions
• Budgeting tools: Budget creation, tracking, and alerts
• AI-powered insights: Spending analysis, savings suggestions, and a conversational financial assistant
• Goal tracking: Savings goals with progress monitoring

5. Service Access

rogat.ai is completely free to use. All features are available to every user at no cost, including unlimited linked accounts, AI transaction categorization, AI financial assistant, advanced insights, savings goals, and bill alerts.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Use the Service to conduct money laundering or fraud
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Financial Data

By linking your bank accounts, you authorize us to access your financial data through our certified banking data provider on a read-only basis. You acknowledge that:

• We provide read-only access — we cannot initiate transactions, move money, or modify your accounts
• Financial data may be delayed or temporarily unavailable due to bank maintenance or connectivity issues
• AI-generated categorizations and insights may contain errors — you should verify important financial information independently
• We are not responsible for actions you take based on information displayed in the app

8. AI-Generated Content

Our AI features (transaction categorization, financial assistant, insights) are powered by artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated responses may not always be accurate or complete
• AI categorizations are suggestions and should be verified for accuracy
• AI insights are not financial advice and should not replace professional consultation
• We continuously improve our AI but cannot guarantee error-free operation

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the underlying technology — are owned by rogat.ai and protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed $100 CAD
• We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information provided by the Service

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support@rogat.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Ontario.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
